Soooo what's people's favourite episode and why??
I struggle to narrow my choice down, because I have favourites for different reasons: - 11 Pride of the Hero: An insanely awesome episode regarding Moordryd's character development. I can't have been the only one shocked to see Beau choose him. Also, Decepshun's face when DB gets on her saddle haha!! - 18 The Leap of Lorius: I don't know about anyone else but I was in so much suspense over Artha doing the jump, and when he did I was holding my breath through most of it! - 19 The Wraith Booster: Moordryd the hero, thwarts one of his own father's plans. That is a major plot twist if I ever saw one! - 33 The Defiants: This is a small one to be honest, but still worth the mention. The fact that everyone proves in the end that they can race without fighting gives huge hope for the future in terms of the looming prospect of war. Also, the last end section has that AMAZING inspirational music that I can't get enough of!
If I had to pick one, it would be Ep 11, because it actually brought me to tears in the end. Not just the Moordryd thing, but also Beau's link to Artha too.

I say my faves are in this order:
-26 Return of Drakkus part 2: Watching Mortis/Conner fight is beyond words and it's the first time we see some real anime level peril for our heroes! -28 The Changlings: It's just nice to see more of Conner and the whole family again. I just like episodes with Conner (high-ho season 3 away!) -01 the Choosing: Do I really need a reason for loving this episode? -10 The Track of Doom: The first time we learn how Prophesy speaks is just plain spooky.
I can't think of any more off the top of my head but this is a good place to start for me.
To be honest though, I think in episode 11, Beau let Moordryd get on him on PURPOSE as a way of telling Artha to get his head out of his butt..... but When the Furox bone mark turned up, all bets were off! "I KNOW I'm only the Dragon Booster because YOU CHOSE me!" "The Dragon Chose you too..." but maybe that's just me. :/

Wow, I actually had to think about this.... - Battle for the ages both parts: I'll admit the climax of the fight was a bit of a let down, nut I like how they had Moordryd & Artha find out about each other + the playful banter after the fight is adorable, I like the way Moordryd "purrs" when he's finally relaxed around Artha <3 + Drakkus "I guess there are time when we can put aside our differences" "not many.." LOVE IT!!!
- The Mechanist: Not just because I love Rivvet, but I loved the amount to detail they did with the camera angles, you don't see that again in any other episode.
- Damaged Goods: Last episode nuff said, scream my head off in feels at the ending...plus Word's antics are a scream XD
- The Defiants: Drakkus vs Armeggy + We get some great insight on Word from a single sentence outta Armeggy "So you do care...You WEAKNESS!" luv it <3
- Broken Bonds: I was both laughing and amazed when Word did a quadruple FRONT FLIP 30ft into the air! and lands PERFECTLY in the scaffolding! wow, for being 50, dude keeps in damn fine shape (O^O)
- Faster Than Fear: Great insight on both Moordryd & Word especially at the beginning + it's the first (and I think only) mention of Zulay AAAAAND the fact that Moordryd seems to take after his mummy more than dada >w<
- Paynn rising: I love how Wor'd tests Moordryd's abilities, and he's just sittn' there watching nonchalantly XD
Wow...I guess I'm more of a Word fan than I thought I was, given the fact I had to prioritize a collaboration of my singularly favorite episodes-am I Parm-ing? I have other favs sure, but I'd say those give of some of the best insight on My favorite characters at least >:3

Definitely Episode 10 was pretty cool for the reason you highlighted AM; Propheci is a pretty freaky dragon o__0 I'd love to actually know if that's his actual brain sticking out the top of his head- I HIGHLY doubt it considering the logistics of that would be ridiculous considering how fragile the brain is + there is stuff between the brain and the skull that performs important functions too, but I'd like to know what they intended with that design... :/ Nah, I definitely think it has to do with the fact that Moordy has good in him, though I think it was of a foreshadowing of Moordy being the SB later on- remember, the SB is meant to be a hero just like the DB, so it kinda makes sense that Beau would sense this power in Moordy and bow to him. Ahhh yeah Battle for the Ages is definitely really good too- I really like that little ending bit too!! Especially when Connor/Mortis says "What was that all about?" and Artha/DB replies "Hope Dad. Hope" THE FEELS GODDAMN T_____T I should have also included Faster than Fear, it gave us really good insight into all 4 of the characters involved. Plus the cliffhanger shadow-passing-by bit at the end!! I remember reading somewhere on the MD that something else escaped the track along with Armeggy, but naturally Rob wouldn't say what!!! x____x WHAT IF IT'S THE ORIGINAL SB?? I'm getting carried away haha!

All hail the wise one...my ignorance towards the inner workings of this gem is too vast for my own good... OH. MAN. None of this ever crossed my mind! I didn't even know something else escape the same time Armeggy did!! (dammit I need to read the Magna draconis which I nearly spelled manga several times) but but but but wait a minute, how can there be two SB's??? *GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP* unless the original SB lost his armor somehow and now it's the one Moordryd has, so maybe the original SB turns out to be the mentor of the new SB! Or it could be someone totally outta left field....like the Fire Booster....or Zulay. (okay maybe not Zulay but I can dream)

(I LOVE that gif!! Joey <3) Yeah come to think of it that doesn't make sense now, considering the gauntlet was held separately in the Shadow Tower just as the other gauntlets were held or hidden in their temples and whatnot. Thooooough if Armeggy was trapped in the track by SB, it does make us beg the question as to how Armeggy got the amulet for SB's armour. The alternative to him having it whilst in the track is that he went and found it after being released from the track. The alternative to that, if he had it whilst in the track, is the SB might of trapped Armeggy in while he wasn't wearing his armour or gauntlet- it may have been a spur of the moment take-the-opportunity to trap him, and may have been trapped himself in there too along with Armeggy, and in the fray Armeggy got hold of his amulet or SB dropped the amulet while escaping the track.... TOO MANY POSSIBILITIES Hehe sadly not! Apart from the fact that we know Zulay died or disappeared testing gear for Word, Word has said that she was the last person to escape the Shadow Track, so it wouldn't be much sense having her trapped in it

TOO MANY POSSIBILITIES I agree, I think the whole Shadow track lock up was both planned & spur of the moment: probably the end product of a long hard battle that lead them to the shadow track, but SB had to enter first in order to lure Armeggy in, but as all good plans go, the trade off to locking Armeggy in the Shadow track was SB had get locked in too. I imagine the other Boosters probably helped out with this scheme. Although, if it WAS SB who was in there With Armeggy, I think the only way the armor would have gotten out was in the midst of a struggle of some kind....

Although, if it WAS SB who was in there With Armeggy, I think the only way the armor would have gotten out was in the midst of a struggle of some kind.... That wouldn't be possible considering the gauntlet was stored in the Shadow Tower- it suggests that either SB actually lived out his days fine as (presumably) the other Boosters did or that if he was trapped in the track, he was trapped in there without the gauntlet. The case would be different for the amulet because yeah, maybe there was a struggle between Armeggy & SB and Armeggy nabbed the amulet. But without the gauntlet, the amulet is useless + the gauntlet was found somewhere outside the Shadow Track and completely separate from the incidents on the track. It's entirely possible (but somewhat grandiose to think), that perhaps in the fight whilst outside the track, Armeggy knocked off SB's gauntlet and amulet, severing the connection and SB feeling the situation was dire, used the track as a last-ditch effort to seal away both Armeggy and himself. Then, the other Boosters retrieved the gauntlet from outside the track where SB lost it and the story goes from there- doesn't explain the amulet's separation for the gauntlet though. Unless it was left lying outside somewhere because they didn't spot it when collecting the gauntlet and when Armeggy was released, he knew where to look for the SB's amulet and gauntlet and inevitably found the amulet. Again, so much speculation x_____x

Actually Bluesonic, the Magna Draconis states that the SB was in there with Armegadonn. The SB was the one who trapped him in there, but we didn't get clear details if the SB was trapped with him or not. He could be one of the 'things' the MD casually threw out there that were also trapped in the track, but we never got to see what.
Though it's quite possible that something of the train of thought you're going along did happen: SB fights Armegadonn, which involves the original DB some way (MD never mentioned how). Armeggy's dragons loose their bonemarks, and SB traps him, but before he can get out, Armeggy takes the amulet. Sensing he won't get out of there fast enough, SB tosses the gauntlet out of the track and DB takes it to the preisthood, where the Shadow Tower is built around it. SB is trapped in the track (Or not, this can go either way here) and they sit there for 2000-3000 years or whatever.
But this tale has a split path where either SB is trapped or not trapped, and it still comes out the same when 'The Choosing' goes down. The academy series would have cleared a lot of things up, I'd imagine.
And to add my favorite episodes, I'm a sucker for Cain, so it's probably Three times a Hero, Faster the Fear, (One that I forget the name of, derp), and Cain's Mutiny. Why Cain's Mutiny? Well, for starters, Cain development, which was left bland and underwhelming the entire series up to this point, and also more of a look into the DE compound XD

(this is exactly what I was visualizing, but I couldn't find the words) THANK YOU RO I think I would both love & hate it if that was indeed the case that they BOTH got trapped in there AUGH! Poor Shadow Booster... Which brings me to another question: Given the portrait we saw in the academy Who agrees that the odds of the original Fire booster being female are pretty high?? (personally, I see boobiez)

I'm sure that's what I've been saying most of the time, hence my speculations as to whether the SB got trapped with Armeggy on the track or not?
I know exactly how you feel man!!! Although I think it would be horrible for him, returning to a time period where all the people he knew and all the friends he had made were all long dead... THE FEELS. Someone needs to make a feels DB gif, I feel like we'd use it a lot here haha. Not sure I understood that last question about the Fire Booster?? (Do you mean as in the Fire Booster being a likely candidate for being stuck in/released from the track?)

Ahhhh been there, done that XD Yeah I agree the odds are pretty high, and yeah it seems like the armour has that typical obvious-breasts-section on it too, kinda like this armour (WHYYYYYYY D:).

I'm sure that's what I've been saying most of the time, hence my speculations as to whether the SB got trapped with Armeggy on the track or not? Eh, sorry, I was tired and I think I needed to re-iterate it into my own words in ornder for it to make sense. That and it's kinda like a summary? If that makes any sense. Again, sorry for any confusion, I think I myself was confused when I wrote... Typed... Worded? it out. I know exactly how you feel man!!! Although I think it would be horrible for him, returning to a time period where all the people he knew and all the friends he had made were all long dead... THE FEELS. Someone needs to make a feels DB gif, I feel like we'd use it a lot here haha.[/quote] I'm agreeing with you guys, I think if they did get trapped in there, but I'd feel too sorry for the original SB to feel any sort of excitement. Like, dude gets trapped for 3000 years or summin like that and all of a sudden released into a world he knows nothing about anymore. That and he'd still have to face off with Armegadonn, which he thought he solved like three millenniums ago. After I get a chance to stew on it though? Yeah, that'd be awesome but initially... I'd be praying to whatever god they have on Draconis (if they have one) to help the poor guy out. Feels gif from DB? Much yes. Wish I knew how to gif, the fight where Propheci took over Mortis and had him swinging around Art-- I mean, Dragon Booster would do, but feels instead of Mortis. Well, okay, feels either way ;w;

THE FEELS. Someone needs to make a feels DB gif, I feel like we'd use it a lot here haha. That's one (Ro, I'm rather good at gifs) And that's two....sorta, I have no idea what you want, so I'll make two to start derp Yes!!! I finally had some time to make these!!! okay okay, which was the more dramatic fight? Return of Drakkus? or Battle for the ages?
