I'm into a lot of older stuff.
Secret of N.I.M.H, The Iron Giant, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Mummy and The mummy Returns (Brendan Fraiser) The Mummy 3 was an abysmal let down. The Magic Horse and The Magic Pony (old Russian animated movie of a VERY old poem. Yes both are the same story but made 30 years apart by the same dude) Rocky and Bullwinkle (1960's TV show ONLY, the 2000 movie they did was terrible)
Newer stuff I like.
Despicable me 1 and 2, Wreck it Wralph (one of few Disney movies that's actually decent at face value)..... I'm sure there are more, I just can't remember.

Oh Brendan Fraiser <3 haha! I forgot to add National Treasure and The Da Vinci Code + its sequel Angels and Demons. I loved the first two Mummy movies too, and yeah I found the third to be quite the let down!

My younger brother went through a phase of being completely obsessed with the Iron Giant, he watched it every day for about a month straight.
When I was young I loved the Jurassic Park movies, and even though there are said to be quite a lot of problems with the new movies (inaccurate dinosaur descriptions etc.), I am quite excited for it to come out.

If you're into horror I can recommend a fair few (a lot of them 80's films haha:)
-The Thing (1982 version) is one of my all time favourites! -The Babadook -Evil Dead 2 (and Army of Darkness) -The Lost Boys -Repo! The Genetic Opera (this is a cyberpunk horror musical, go figure.) -The Conjuring -The first three Hellraiser films -Dead Alive -The Children -Fright Night (1985 version) -Se7en -Frankenstein's Army -Necromentia -Fire in the Sky
I would also recommend anything by David Cronenberg if you like body horror as much as I do.
As for more unusual/weirder/grittier animated films I'd recommend:
-Watership Down -Plague Dogs -The Illusionist -Rock and Rule -The Last Unicorn -Felidae
Sorry for long lists!
