Tell us your story; how did you first get into Dragon Booster??
When I was little, I used to get up very early in the morning to watch the cartoons aired then; one of my favourites got replaced by Dragon Booster. I was annoyed but ended up starting to watch this series and just fell in love with it as a result...

I grew up on a very anti-Disney TV spectrum, my pre-teen years were no exception. One day My sister & I found out CBC was getting a new "Kids programming" , schedule, so we decides to check it out for gits & shiggles, on a commercial break, we saw a teaser trailer for one of the shows that would be airing on that time slot, it was dragon booster. My sister was already a dragon nut, and I an anime nerd; Dragon Booster had the best of both of our world & we fell in love instantly, we didn't care if it had campy moments or cheap gags at times, we would always be excited for Friday afternoons! We never missed a single episode, even when there were re-runs!!
eventually we watched "Damaged Goods" and were screaming our heads off when we saw the DB was (supposedly) going to have a sequel! After everything Artha & friends had been through & with the story & characters finally developing, it was a dream come true! We couldn't wait for the season premier!
but, as everyone here knows, DB:A never happened. Hopes crushed & hearts broken, we eventually drifted away from DB & found new shows to fall in love with, but neither of us forgot that wonderfully glitchy proto-anime that took us to such a drac universe...
10 years later, My sister decides to torrent the whole series & we both fall in love all over again~~~~<3
And that's my story, are you crying yet? lol
But I'm sure my story isn't anything unique, I'm sure that's how things went for many DB fans: still clinging to a show that never got to meet it's full potential.

It hasn't been quite 10 years, but my hope is that if old fans can rally together and show them that even after all these years, we're still loyally waiting for the next season, maybe they'll realise that it would actually be worth carrying on. I also have all the episodes on my laptop, just need to work on uploading them now to Youtube. We might even get some new fans to the series that way

Very true indeed I know some of the Academy episodes were written already, and that the team were looking for broadcasters to buy the show, so perhaps even if we don't get new episodes, the two writers might post up the episodes written and might write more in their spare time for us to read *possibly being too hopeful haha*

The only person I can think of who can help with that would be the Furox. And I still haven't received a reply from them so I'm not sure what's gonna happen with that ^_^;

I started watching DB back when I was 9-10. Those were good times. Fell out with it, became an otaku, now I'm a post-post otaku (call me senpai) and I'm back in love with DB. Also, the links you might be interested in are Kevin Mowrer and Rob's new production company yes? It provides a way to contact them both. I'll exit stage left now~

(long post, hold on tight) (YOU ARE AMAZING FOR FINDING THESE BTW!!!) I KNEW I WASN'T WRONG!!MY THEORY IN ABOUT THIS WHOLE JUST GOT BLOWN WIDE OPEN!!! It says RIGHT. ON. Rob's website that DB was created "FOR DISNEY" AAaand! Kevin Mowrer said that ""Digital Assets Group was brought into the art process to help with development of the look and feel of the property and then Rob Travalino joined my company, the Story Hat, and did a lot of writing on the show and property."" That's GOT to be it! It's possible Rob Travalino had some sort of connection with Disney, that would definitely glue my theory together! I'm sorry for rambling too much, I'll go back to my conspiracy corner now......But I know I'm onto something *shifty eyes*

Yes Sis, you do Ramble too much. But at least we can keep each other company in our Conspiracy corner. Yes, I'm right alongside her in the Anti-Disney stuff. Okay, blah blah late 2003, saw the Trailer, was blown away, Series ended, found other things to go gah-gah over but NEVER forgot DB..... 10 years later I get to fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN!! *inhales* *passes out* Yeah, That's pretty much the story for all Dragon Booster fans it seems.

I've bookmarked them and once the ball really gets rolling on the forum, Wiki and/or petition, they WILL hear from us!! I'm so tempted to contact them now over it but I get the feeling with just us 4 they'll probably tell us to go away ._____. kay, blah blah late 2003, saw the Trailer, was blown away, Series ended, found other things to go gah-gah over but NEVER forgot DB..... 10 years later I get to fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN!! *inhales* *passes out* Yeah, That's pretty much the story for all Dragon Booster fans it seems. Yeah I seem to find that that's a recurring theme- people re-watch it and get fired up again. That's what happened with me too It's actually what motivated me to bring this all back up, as well as seeing that the other petition's host website was getting shut down.

First of all I have to say I've never seen Dragon Booster yet. I discovered the show when I was 16... which means a few days ago. The way I did this was very curious and passed through this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAir_AUXVR4This is a simulated broadcast closure as it would have been aired in 2008 on a Spanish TV channel. I thought: "okay, let's remember what was broadcast before the channel became a b***s***. And I saw it: "Dragon Booster"? What was that supposed to be? So I went to Wikipedia, read their article and thought "well, another Pokemon-like (in the way of humans dominating creatures with powers and that stuff, I mean) show that I must watch as I like dragons". This made me go to Google and search more info. How wrong I was... My expectatives grew up very quickly after reading the few reviews there were out there and seeing the amazing dragon designs. So again to Google to download the series and watch it. This became a problem: Is it in Spanish out there? Lol nope. English with Spanish subtitles? Of course not. I could finally find a torrent with the complete series in English, but without subtitles and that took three days to finish. And that's how I arrived to the present day. Now I can't wait to watch Dragon Boost somehow. The main problem is that my English can easily fail, but hey, I really hope it's worth it

It is totally worth it. I'm sure there will be someone out there who can/will subtitle it for you. Enjoy your new found Fandom!

The main problem is that my English can easily fail, but hey, I really hope it's worth it Actually Dragon Booster was released entirely in Spanish (I remember watching it when I visited Argentina many years ago when it still aired), it's just extremely difficult to find considering even the English version is hard to come by. Try sending aioros22 a message, they may have the episodes in Spanish they could share with you (him and myself are the only Spanish speakers on the site at the moment). Even searching "dragon booster español latino" on Youtube will come up with a bunch of episodes in Spanish dub (not sure if all of them, but some digging might bring some surprises!). This Youtube playlist has all the Spanish episodes up to Episode 13. Also, in terms of your writing at least, your english is fantastic!
